Today we marched in full song and voice toward Investors Group Field, full of anticipation for the unveiling of our team name and branding. We expected the team name to be Valour FC but we were still eager for confirmation, and couldn’t wait to see our logo. We have been waiting for this moment for more than a year and it did not disappoint. The stadium was packed, and it was gratifying to see that so many others were also excited for the return of Professional Soccer in Winnipeg. There is so much more to come, but we are signing off tonight with a cheer for Valour FC! Raise a glass #ForValour! A post shared by Red River Rising (@redriverrisingwpg) on Jun 6, 2018 at 2:16pm PDT

Before the 2017-2018 season, the Winnipeg Jets had only qualified for the playoffs once since returning for […]

While frustrating at times, in the end the wait was worth it. Along with the new website and branding, an official confirmation of a Spring 2019 league kick off made this suddenly feel very real. We have less than a year which means it is time to get busy! If your plan to support this league involves buying season tickets next year and cheering loudly in the stands, that is fantastic. But there are many important ways we can all help out now. It is vital that we keep the conversation going. If you haven’t already followed the […]
