November Pub Night

Join us for our next pub night on November 9th. Are you with us?

We are just catching our breath now, after a busy last week.  It began with Valour season tickets going on sale on Monday and culminated on Friday with a hard fought trialist battle on a cold blustery Winnipeg evening.  It was hard not to imagine for a moment that April was here, as we cheered the boys on from the stands. It’s Time!

It is finally time to start buying our season tickets.  We hope to see as many of you as possible in section #144, officially known as the Kings Head Supporter Section.  We are looking for as many people as possible to stand with us (previous supporter section experience is not required).  If you want to come out and have some fun, our section is for you.  And if you want to bring some friends along, even better! Thanksgiving Reflection

Thanksgiving always make me reflective. As the Winnipeg open trial dates approach, I find myself thinking more about what the launch of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) means to me. I’m a Voyageur to my core, so in a broader sense, the development opportunity for Canadian players is exciting. But this isn’t a new idea; it is the fundamental reason that the league exists. Lately, my thoughts linger on the impact that the league will have for fans. For most of my life, I took for granted how lucky I was to attend many high-level games. Living in Southern Ontario, a two-hour road trip delivered me to several TFC and Canadian National team games each year.
